Gold Foundation is proud to announce ‘Dance Diverse’, an exciting new life skills program for young people on the autism spectrum (ages 13+).

Dance Diverse will accommodate the needs and wants of each individual, to provide participants with the opportunity to learn fun routines, build friendships and experience the mental and physical benefits of dance. Participants will also develop social skills, increase self-confidence and be given an outlet for healthy emotional expression and release-being a main focus of the program.

The sessions will include a mix of freestyle and choreographed dance, where participants will work collaboratively with program facilitator Emma and be heavily involved in song choices, dance styles and session structure. At the end of the 12-week program, participants will be invited to showcase their skills and see the benefits of their hard work and commitment, during the ‘End of Program Performance’.

No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome!

Dance Diverse program will be $280 for the full 12-week program.

A 10% deposit ($28) will be required to enrol in the program, with the remainder to be paid before the start date on 3 March.
